Our much anticipated annual dinner is held in February each year. See here for pictures of this year's very successful event. Tuesday sessions are at 10 am until 12 noon at the Sea Scout Hall in Marine Road, Deal. There is free parking along Marine Road. Wednesday sessions are at 7 pm until 9pm at the Astor. We'd like to thank Sue Jackson for hosting the Wednesday sessions while the Astor was being refurbished and at other times when the normal locations were unavailable. There is a car park next to the Astor. The Astor has undergone radical changes over the past twelve months and although the work is far from completion a lot of it is unrecognizable from the 'Old' Astor. Staircases have been removed, walls built internally, and refreshingly for us, the whole theatre has been completely rewired and 'our' room now has two large individually controlled heating radiators. We have retained our storage facilities and the killing draughts from the original double door entrances have been abolished. The theatre will have staff on duty on a daily basis to sort out any problems. Saturday sessions, on the last Saturday of the month, are at St Andrews Church Hall, Deal. The church hall lies behind the church and there is free parking in the churchyard. They run from 10am until 4pm and there is an hour lunch-break from 1pm-2pm. The next one is on 27th February 2010 and after that on 27th March. Later dates will be posted in due course. See here for map and addresses for all the venues. Charges per session: Tuesdays - £5. Wednesdays - £6. Saturday (10am-4pm) - £10. Saturday morning (10am-1pm) - £7 and Saturday afternoon (2pm-4pm) - £5.
