Our 2012 Annual Dinner has been fixed for Friday February 10th at the same venue as last year - The Chequers. (See past years photos at the end of this page). The menu is here Tuesday sessions are at 10 am until 12 noon at the Sea Scout Hall in Marine Road, Deal. There is free parking along Marine Road. Wednesday sessions are at 7 pm until 9pm at the Astor. There is a car park next to the Astor. Saturday sessions: on the last Saturday of the month, are at St Andrews Church Hall, Deal. The church hall lies behind the church and there is free parking in the churchyard. They run from 10am until 4pm and there is an hour lunch-break from 1pm-2pm. There is no Saturday session in December but the confirmed dates for 2012 are: Jan 28th, Feb 25th, March 31st, Apr 28th, May 26th and June 30th. Any changes to these dates will be announced here. See here for map and addresses for all the venues. Charges per session: Tuesdays - £5. Wednesdays - £6. Saturday (10am-4pm) - £10. Our Annual Dinner held on Friday 4th February 2011 was excellent once again. Both the food and the venue was better than last year. One of the aims of the dinner is to bring everyone together - the Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday groups - with as many of our models as we can. This last is important as we have over twenty models most of whom, although members of the group, model in isolation. See HERE for pictures of the event. (See here for pictures of the 2010 dinner.) |
